During a sale, a store offered 50% discount on a particular camera that was originally priced 450. After the sale, the discounted price of the camera was increased by 40% what was the price of the camera after this increase?

    The price of the camera after the increase was $315 you multiply 450 by. 50 and then you get 225 next you multiply 225 times. 40 and you get 90 you then add 90 to 225 and you get 315

    $500*0.5

    =$250

    increase after discount

    $250*1.4

    =$350

    The camera cost $350 after the increase.
