The inequality 9/5C + 32 < - 40 can be used to find Celsius temperatures that are less than - 40 degrees Fahrenheit. What is the solution of the inequality?

    I'm pretty sure this is the answer:

    Subtract the 32 from both sides then divide both sides by 9/5. There is a negative so you would flip the inequality sign then your answer will be - 1.6 or - 8/5
