Why is 8.0 greater than 0.8?

8.0 is the same as saying 8. But, 0.8 is less than 1, because in front of the decimal is a whole number which is zero. Also 0 is less than 8

8.0 is greater than. 8 because 8.0 is just 8 and. 8 is only eight tenths.
