    area of square = side²

    area of square = x²

    where 'x' is the number squared to get the area which is 32cm²

    so here,

    x²=32

    x=√32

    x=5.6

    Now to find the perimeter:

    perimeter of square=4*side

    so,

    4*x=5.6

    x=5.6:4

    x=1.4cm

    the perimeter of square is 1.4cm
