Write the equation of the line that passes through (3, 4) and (2, - 1) in slope-intercept form.

    m = (-1 - 4) / (2-3) = - 5/-1 = 5

    slope = 5

    passing (3, 4)

    y = mx + b

    4 = 5 (3) + b

    4 = 15 + b

    4 - 15 = b

    -11 = b or b = - 11
