Decide which of the two given prices is the better deal and why. You can buy shampoo in a 6 ounce bottle for $2.49 or in a 14 ounce bottle for $9.79. What is the cost per ounce for each bottle?

    The cost per ounce of the first bottle is $0.415 and the second bottle is $0.699.

    The first bottle has the better deal because if you were to have 14 ounces of the first type of shampoo, it would only cost $5.81
