Which of the ordered pairs in the form (x, y) is a solution of this equation?

3x - y/4 = 11

    They both are solutions.

    If you plug the numbers from the ordered pairs in for x and y you will see that they equal 11.

    3 (3) - (-8/4) = 9 + 2 = 11

    3 (4) - (4/4) = 12 - 1 = 11
