    Height of the cone is thrice the height of the cylinder

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let 'h' b e the height of the cylinder and 'H' be the height of the cone.

    Volume of cylinder = base area * h

    Volume of cone = 1/3 (base area) * H

    Since the volumes are equal with same base areas,

    base area * h = 1/3 (base area) * H

    h = H/3

    Or,

    3h = H
