    7 cows 18 chickens

    Step-by-step explanation:

    x=cows y=chickens

    Two Equivilant Functions

    25 = x+y

    64=4x+2y

    Isolate

    y=25-x

    Substitute

    64=4x+2 (25-x)

    64 = 4x+50-2x

    14=2x

    x=7

    Substitute

    25=7+y

    y=18
