At a city hospital, 40 boys and 50 girls were born yesterday. What is the expermental probabilty that the next baby born will be a girl

    The experimental probability that the next baby born will be a girl is approximately 56%.

    Out of the 90 newborns, 50 of them are female. 50/90 = 0.555555 ...

    To convert this decimal to a fraction, you must first round to the nearest hundredth (0.56). Then multiply the decimal by one hundred. (You should be left off with the end result of 56%.) : - )
