    As given, that every package of a certain toy also includes 2 batteries.

    1. So, yes the number of toys and number of batteries in a proportional relationship.

    If there is 1 toy, there are 2 batteries.

    If there are 2 toys, there will be 4 batteries.

    If there are 4 toys, there will be 8 batteries.

    And 2 and 1/2 are the constants of proportionality.

    2. Let t for the number of toys and b for the number of batteries;

    So, the two equations relating the two variables.

    b=2t and t=1/2b

    It says every package of toy contains 2 batteries.

    It means 1 Toy requires 2 Batteries to run.

    Yes, there is a proportional relationship between number of toys and number of batteries.

    If 't' represents number of toys and 'b' represents number of batteries. Then relationship between toys and batteries can be written as follows:-

    Number of Batteries = 2 x Number of Toys

    OR

    Number of Toys = 1/2 x Number of Batteries

    Hence, b = 2t OR t = 1/2 b
