Mackenzie buys 6 petunias and 8 marigolds. if she plants 2 flowers in each pot, how many pots dose she need?

    It would be 7 pots because 6 divided by 2 is 3. 8 divided by 2 is 4. 3+4=7

    12 is the answer because 8 petunias + 6 other things = 14 and then you she planted 2 already thats how you get your answer 14 - 2 is 12.
