    Let 'x' represent the cost of the first hat then the cost of the second hat is '2x'.

    Altogether the hats cost $75.12:

    x + 2x = 75.12

    x = $25.04

    2x = 2*25.04 = $50.08

    The price of the more expensive hat is $50.08.
