    Just plug it into the formula

    y - (-6) = - 5/6 (x - (-1))

    y+6=-5/6 (x+1)

    y=-5/6 (x) - 5/6-6

    The answer is: f (x) = - 5/6 (x) - 41/6

    Slope Intercept form; y=mx+b

    (m=slope, b = y-intercept)

    Your answer; " y = - 5/6 x - 41/6 "

    They've already provided you with the slope so all you have to solve for is the y intercept (b). In order to do that you just plug in the x and y values and slope value into the standard slope intercept formula. That should look something like; - 6 = - 5/6 (-1) + b. Once you solve that you'll get - 41/6 equals b. So your final answer is y = - 5/6 x - 41/6.
