    volume = 4/3 x 3.14 x r^3

    4/3 * 3.14 = 4.18666

    radius of youth ball = 2.8/2 = 1.4

    volume = 4.18666 x 1.4^3 = 11.488 cubic inches

    radius of adult ball = 3.8/2 = 1.9

    voulume = 4.18666 x 1.9^3 = 28.716

    28.72 - 11.49 = 17.2 cubic inches difference
