A triangle has side lengths 10, 15, and 7. Is the triangle acute, obtuse, or right? Explain

    Hello,

    In a triangle, to the taller side is opposed the taller angle.

    Let's use tht Al'Kashi theorem (generalized pythaogorean's theorem)

    15²=10²+7²-2*10*7*cos (C)

    ==>cos (C) = - 76/140==>C=-122.8783 ... °

    The triangle is obtuse.
