A store bought 9 cases of lightbulbs in May and 8 cases in June. There are 58 lightbulbs in each case. How many lightbulbs did the sore buy altogether?

    Do 58 x 9 and 58 x 8 then add them up.

    58 x 9 = 522 and 58 x 8 = 464

    522 + 464 = 986

    So the store bought 986 light bulbs in total.
