Solve - 2d + 3 = 17 + 5d

Remember we can do anything to an equation as long as we do it to both sides
and adding a negative of something cancels it so
-2d+3=17+5d
isoltate unknown
add 2d to oth sides
3=17+7d
subtract 17 from both sides
-14=7d
divide 7
-2=d
