What value of c makes the polynomial below a perfect square? X^2+14x+c

    X² + 14x + c

    Remember:

    (x+c) ² = x² + 2xc + c²

    14x = 2xc

    14 = 2c

    c = 7

    Therefore:

    (x+7) ² = x² + 14x + 49
