There are 3 boys and 2 girls in the Grape family. Mr. Grape bought 3 1/2 pounds of candy to divide equally among them. How much candy did each child get?

    The answer is 0.7 lbs. per child.

    divide 3.5 pounds of candy by 5 children = 0.7 pounds of candy for each child
