1. Turn them into improper fractions
11/2 divided by 1/4
2. Note that dividing by something is the same as multiplying by its reciprocal, which is easier, so let's do that.
11/2 times 4/1
3. Multiply and simplify.
11*4/2*1 = 44/2 = 22.
(You can also just turn these into decimals and plug them into your calculator, but this is also easy.)
