How do I figure out 2/3 (5*4) / 3+6/7=

    work out the product in the parenthesis firat:-

    2/3 (5*4) / 3 + 6/7

    = 2/3 (20) / 3 + 6/7

    = 40/3 / 3 + 6/7

    = 40/9 + 6/7

    = 334/63

    Second do: 2/3 times 20 that equals 40/1 or 40 (2 times 20 / 3 times 1 = 40/1)

    Third try: Dividing 40/3 (3 = 40/3 times 1/3 equals 40 times 1 / 3 times) this equals 40/9

    Fourth and the Final step: Add 40/9 plus 6/7 (40 · 7

    9 times 7 plus 6 times 9 / 7 times 9 = 280 / 63 + 54 / 63 = 280 + 54 / 63 = 334 / 63

    The correct answer is 334/63
