In a right triangle, the hypotenuse is 30 feet and one leg is 24 feet. how long, in feet, is the other leg?

    A^2 + b^2 = c^2

    a^2 + 24^2 = 30^2

    a^2 + 576 = 900

    a^2 = 324

    Take the square root of each side

    a=18ft
