A dolphin is 1,000 feet below the sea level, it begins ascending at the rate of 20 feet per second. Assume the dolphins continues at the same rate of ascent. When will it reach the surface?

    Starts at 1,000feet

    Each second is getting 20 feet closer to the surface since is ascending (going higher)

    1,000/20 = 100/2=50 second it takes to reach the surface
