First, you want to get a common denominator for both fractions. Change the denominator to 15 for both fractions. 1/5=3/15 & 2/3=10/15 Add the two together and you will find Bill read 13/15 of the book within two days. That means 2/15 was left, so Bill read 2/15 of the book on Wednesday.
