The area of a rectangle is 42 square feet. If the length and width are whole numbers, what are the least and greatest possible perimeters?

    A = L * W

    P = 2 (L + W)

    lets get all the factors of 42 ...

    1 * 42 ... P = 86

    2 * 21 ... P = 46

    3 * 14 ... P = 34

    6 * 7 ... P = 26

    least possible perimeter = 26

    greatest possible perimeter = 86
