The first side of a triangle measures 4 in less than second side the third side is 3 in more than the first side and the permimeter is 15 how long is the third side

    Answer: 11.4 in

    let's take the first side as x so the second side will be 4in more so it's 4+x and the third is 3 times x so 3x. perimeter is 15 so if we add them all we get 15. x + (4+x) + 3x=15 so x=3.8. the third side is 3x so 3 x 3.8 = 11.4.
