Drag each tile to the correct box

Each of these equations holds true for one value of xfrom the set (5, 12, 15, 18). Arrange the equations in increasing order of the x-values that

make them true

6x - 15 = 75

x + (x - 10) = 26

5x - 3x = 10

2 (2x - 1) = 46

    Add fifteen to both sides

    90/6=15

    1st one is 15

    26 + 10 = 36

    36/2=18

    18 + (18-10=8) 18 + 8 = 26

    The second is 18

    Subtract the 5-3=2 so 10/2=5

    5 x 5 = 25 - 5 x 3 = 15

    25 - 15 = 10

    5 is the third answer

    2 x 12 = 24 - 1 = 23 x 2 = 46 so the last one is 12

In order the answers are 15,18,5 and 12.
