x = 2/3y - 1
switch sides : 2/3y - 1 = x
add 1 : 2/3y - 1 + 1 = x + 1
simplify : 2/3y = x + 1
multiply by 3 : 3 * 2/3y = 3x + 3 * 1
simplify : 2y = 3x + 3
divide by 2 : 2y/2 = 3x/2 + 3/2
Answer : y = 3x + 3 / 2
