    First you should find how much miles she can travel with one gallon of gas, so it will be easier. In order to do that you will have to do

    160 / 5 and you will get 32.

    That shows how much miles she can travel with one gallon of gas.

    To figure out how much gas is needed for 256 miles you have to do:

    256 / 32 which is 8

    You divide because with one gallon of gas you can travel 32 miles.
