If 4.8 kg of pecans were used, that means that of the total nuttly chocalate bars (in kg) made that day, 22.0% of it is equal to 4.8 kg. Mathematically that means, 22.0% x chocalate bars = 4.8 0.22 x chocolate bars = 4.8 Working backwards, we have chocolate bars = 4.8/0.22 = 21.82 kg Hence, the weight of the chocolate bars amade is equal to 21.82 kg. Since we need the weight in pounds, we must take note that 1 kg = 2.2 lbs. So, we have 21.82 kg = 21.82 (2.2) = 48.00 pounds Answer: 48.00 pounds
