In your Math Class, you have the scores of 68, 82, 87, and 89 on

the forst four of five tests. To get a grade of B, the average of

the first five test scores must be greater than or equal to 80 and

less than 90. Find the range of scores you need on the last test to

get a B.

    To get the number I must score in the 5TH Test, the total of the first four test is added together

    68+82+87+89 = 326

    However making the number I must score X

    There is need to find a new average

    And the total number of score is now equal to 5, so we generate the equation.

    (326 + X) / 5=80

    326+X = 400

    X = 400-326

    X = 74

    However he needs to score equal or above 74 and 100 to get a B.
