A survey indicated that 3 out of 5 doctors use aspirin. if 2000 doctors were survey how many used Brand X

    To find the amount that do use aspirin, multiply 2,000 by 3/5, which is 1,200. Then subtract 1,200 from 2,000 to find the amount of doctors that don't use aspirin, and use Brand X. You get 800, so 800 doctors used Brand X.
