Factory XYZ has already produced 426 units today. The factory produces 98 units per hour. Today's goal is to produce at least 1,014 units.     The answer is option D: 98x+426>1,014

    This is because, it is stated that x represents hours of production, and hours of production per hour is 98units, it will be 98x, in todays situation, it has already produced 426 units and atleast needs to cross 1,014, but in a day there are 24 hours, so if it produces 98 units per hour (given), so total units in a day will be 98 x 24=2352 > 1,014.

    so the inequality representing the situation should be greater than 1,014 and also should include the units already produced (426) and thats why it is an inequality as it is greater than resultant (1,014).

    so acordingly, inequality is: 98x + 426>1,014.
