So first we want to get decimals because it closer to being a whole number than fractions. How you get decimals is dividing the numerator by the denominator and it gives you your decimal. What I did was 2 divided by 5 and it gave me. 4 and than added on my 1 which gave me 1.4. Than I did the same to the second set of numbers and it gave me 3.2857. I rounded to the nearest tens which gave me 3.30. Next I did the same for 2 1/2 and it gave me 2.5. Last I multiplied 1.4 by 2.5 and 3.30 by 2.5 and that gave me 3.5 of ground meat and 8.20 rounded to the nearest tenths of whole kennel corn. Last add the two up to get 11.7 of mixture there will be.
