A total of 64 musicians entered a music contest, and five eighths of these are musicians are guitarists. Some of the guitarists play jazz solos and the rest play classical solos. The ratio of the number of guitarists playing jazz solos to the total number of guitarists int the contest is 1:4. How many guitarists play classical solos in the contest? Explain your reasoning.

    1.5/4 so 16 * 1.5 = 24. 24 guitar classical solos.
