If the test scores of a class of 34 students have a mean of 73.1 and the test scores of another class of 26 students have a mean of 66.4, then the mean of the combined group is

    Combined mean

    = (73.1 * 34 + 66.4 * 26) / (34 + 26)

    = (2485.4 + 1726.4) / 60

    = 70.2 (rounded)
