A town has accumulated 3 inches of snow and the snow depth is increasing by 4 inches every hour. A nearby town has accumulated 9 inches of snow and the depth is increasing by 2 inches every hour. In about how many hours will the snow fall of each of the towns be equal? (round your answer to the nearest tenth)

    You could do guess and check by replacing x with the same number in the equation tell there the same values with these equations y=2x+9 and y=4x+9 or you could graph the equations
