    Bree's age = x

    David's age = 3x+7

    x * (3x+7) = 110

    3x² + 7x = 110

    3x² + 7x - 110 = 0

    3x² - 15x + 22x - 22*5 = 0

    3x * (x - 5) + 22 (x - 5) = 0

    (x - 5) (3x + 22) = 0

    x - 5 = 0 { 3x + 22 = 0 is not considered as age wont come in negative}

    x = 5

    Bree's age = 5 years

    David's age = 3x + 7 = 3*5 + 7 = 15 + 7 = 22 years
