    One of the most basic things before setting out to do something would be the reason for it. Some might just do things just for the heck of it, others because they were either encouraged or discouraged, and others have their own reason as well. The thing is, the reason for starting will always be looked back when times of letting go and giving up would come into the scene. With this, those people who have light reasons can just easily give up on pursuing what they were doing and those who have the right reasons would endure and pursue. It is important that before you write a contract, before evaluating your needs, and before selecting activities that you are able to do, deciding you reason for starting would always be the first step. So the answer would be D. decide your reason for starting.
