    A (n) = a (1) + (n-1) d

A (n) = the number that goes in the sequence for the nth term

A (1) = first number in sequence hence the (1)

N = the nth term you are given

D = what the numbers change by

This sequence increases by + 6

    A (n) = 20 + (n-1) 6
