A hotel rents out rooms for $75 per night. The hotel also pays $225 every day in maintenance and upkeep fees

How much would the hotel make if they rented out 35 rooms on Thursday? $

How many rooms would the hotel have to rent out to make twice as much the following day?

    Cost=$225

    Revenue = $75x, x being the number of rooms rented.

    R-C=75 (35) - 225=$2400

    Double that

    4800=75*x-225

    5025=75x

    x=67 rooms

    One can't just double the number of rooms, because the maintenance fee is constant and doesn't change proportionally. It doesn't change at all.
