number of people who will purchase next month = 250

the number of people who will purchase in 2 month = 325

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Data provided in the question:

people who purchase the plant's product during any month will not purchase it the next month = 30%

therefore, people who purchase the plant's product during any month will purchase next month = 70%

people who do not purchase the product during any month will purchase it the next month = 20%

Total number of people = 1000

Number of people who purchased this month = 100

    Number of people who did not purchase = 1000 - 100 = 900

    therefore,

the number of people who will purchase next month

    = 70% of 100 + 20% of 900

    = 0.70 * 100 + 0.20 * 900

    = 70 + 180

    = 250

    now,

the number of people who will purchase in 2 month

= 70% of (number of people who will purchase next month) + 20% of (number of people who did not purchase next month)

    = 70% of 250 + 20% of (1000 - 250)

    = 0.70 * 250 + 0.20 * 750

    = 175 + 150

    = 325
