Kevin measured the height of a tree in the summer of 2013 and again in the summer of 2014. He found that the tree grew 10% in that year. Now the tree is 33 is 33 feet tall. How tall was the tree in the summer of 2013?

    The tree was 30 feet tall. If we divide 33 by 1.1 (undoing the 10% increase) we get 30. We can prove this by multiplying 30 by 1.1
