    Linear approximation equation is

    f (x) = f (a) + f' (a) (x-a)

    f (-1.1) = f (-1) + f' (-1) (-1.1 - (-1))

    f (-1.1) = - 3+2 (-1.1+1) = - 3-0.2=-3.2
