    The first term in the sequence is 7 we know this cause the first equation (a1 = 7) is telling us what the first term is. To find the next term we use the second equation (an = an - 1 + 6) we us the first term subtract 1 and then add 6 (7 - 1 = 6, 6 + 6 = 12) the second terms is 12. To find the rest of the terms we continue using the second equation but instead of with 7 this time we use 12 then the next time 17 then 21 then 26 so on and so forth.
