    Distance formula : d = sqrt (x2 - x1) ^2 + (y2 - y1) ^2

    (-5,-1) (-1,12)

    d = sqrt (-1 - (-5) ^2 + (12 - (-1) ^2

    d = sqrt (-1 + 5) ^2 + (12 + 1) ^2

    d = sqrt (4^2) + (13^2)

    d = sqrt (16 + 169)

    d = sqrt 185

    d = 13.60 <==
