1) A new iPad costs $229 and is on sale for 7% off. How much is deducted from the original price? 2) A sweatshirt regularly sells for $48.00. They are on sale for 15% off. What is the sale price of the sweatshirt?

    The first one is 212.97 You would do (229 x 7) / 100=16.03 So because you got 16.03 you would do 229 - 16.03 = 212.97 The second one is 40.08 And you would do the samething here. But instead of 7 you would do 15 (48.00 x 15) / 100 = 7.2. So you would do 48.00 - 7.2 = 40.08 So the second one is 40.08 And The first one is 212.97
