The ratio of females to all club members is 34 : 39

    Solution:

Given, a chess club has 39 members, of which 5 are males and the rest are females.

We have to find what is the ratio of females to all club members?

Now, we know that, number of females = total number of students - number of males

    Number of females = 39 - 5 = 34

Now, ratio of females to all the club members = number of females : total number of club members

    = 34 : 39

Hence, the ratio of females to all club members is 34 : 39
