At 2 seconds, an object's velocity is 23 meters per second. At 9 seconds, the object's velocity is 38 meters per second. Assuming a constant acceleration, what is the acceleration in meters per second per second of the object? (If necessary, round to the nearest hundredth.)

    Acceleration = change of velocity / time

    = 38 - 23) / (9 - 2) = 15/7 = 2.14 m s^-2 to nearest hundredth
